SPECIAL EFFECTS
In the very beginning the universal studios logo slowly tints gray after the words are gone this shows the pasting of time as the plant gets older and more piloted. This special effect is animation. As the ships leave the plant and go out into space, is another example of animation because the ship have been created on a computer it allows you to connect what the narrator is saying and the size and stile of the ships this also relates to the TV series FireFly.

Can you describe your examples more? What do the animated ships look like? How do they connect with what the narrator is saying and to the TV series? Then focus on adding some more Merit level responses by explaining the role of animation in setting this film within a genre and establishing some ideas that are key to the director's vision for the film.
